Good Morning, I thought while my boys were having a break from their books and enjoying the Wii for a little bit I would start the next lesson. This will cont on with Wisdom, looking at in a different aspect to our marriages and life.
Psalm 111:10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"
Proverbs 9;10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"
Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge"
Notice God mentions "The fear of the Lord" We need heed it, why? God not only said it once but 3 times!! *I feel that if I can cause young wives to be aware that there are consequences to their actions, they may turn to God now and start sowing to the spirit, rather than to the flesh.
*A woman who really knows God will know that true spirituality is obeying God's recorded Word, not cultivating her "spiritual" sensibilities.
Titus 2:3-4 states in part of this verse "...the aged women...teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands...." If you are a young wife you need to pay attention to this, Our elders do know and do have advice for us on how to help our marriages and life. More importantly is they have lived they have learned things. God's word is given to us to live wisely for a reason, to be a godly wife for a reason.
*No woman has ever been happy and fulfilled who neglected to obey God in regard to her role as a help meet.
*He wanted to make her happy, and he was somewhat awed by her other-worldly spiritualism.
Your husband loves you! He wants to do that which will make you happy. Do you encourage that by obeying God OR do you look more to the world??
Are you truly your husbands "helper" OR are you trying to be his conscience. You are to be his help meet and to encourage him and help lift him up, we are not to be his conscience.
Lets make some new habits today:
*When you feel yourself beginning to have a critical spirit, stop, take a deep breath silently ask for wisdom, then think of something that is on your thankful list. This is remolding a habit, and in time, practice makes perfect.
And remember "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom"

Being the Help Meet you were meant to be. 5 of 24
Good Afternoon! I pray that if you are reading each of these post that something somewhere will help in your marriage and that you will possibly order Mrs Debi Pearls book.
Today is about Wisdom in our marriage and life. Do you have enough fear of God not to question his Word? In Titus 2:3-5 We are taught many things, "The aged woman...may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blashemed"
As women we need to be sure we obey our husbands. I love the part of Titus that says to be "keepers at home" we are to be wise in what we do. My husband doesn't expect things to be perfect but he wants a clean home and so do I. As his wife I became a Keeper at home!
If you have to work out of the home you especially need to be wise with your time so you can keep your home. I have had the privilege of being a stay at home mom since my daughter was born in 1991, then we decided I work when my daughter was in her 10th gr yr, which had all 5 of our children in school. After 2 yrs of working I realized that I wasn't being a keeper of the home. I had to make a decision. I had home schooled in the past and after prayer and counseling we decided that in order for me to do what my first priority was I needed to stop working. I will say at first I missed it, but it was the wise decision to make. I again am homeschooling and my home is at it should be. Wisdom was needed in the decision and I believe God helped us in that decision.
As a wife we are to LOVE our husband and children! So now lets see what God's "blueprint" for marriage is.
Ephesians 5:22-24 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
You know, I've heard people say, NO WAY my husband will not be the head of me!! Did you know this is wrong? Our husbands are to obey the Bible and God and we are to obey God the Bible and our husbands. We are to do this in EVERYTHING! Hard to swallow I know.... If you however have the right kind of relationship with our heavenly Father then we will be able to wisely obey our husbands.
Colossians 3:18 "Wives, submit yourselves unto you husbands, as it is fit in the Lord."
I Corinthians 11:3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ: and the head of the woman is the man: and the head of Christ is God."
*1. God commands wives to submit to their OWN husbands.
2. God informs men that they are the head of the wife.
3. God tells the wives to be subject to their husbands in everything, every decision, every move, every plan, and all everyday affairs.
Hey, trust me these 3 steps are NOT always easy to follow. There are days that you will think there is NO way this may is thinking right. BUT as his wife we are to submit to him, do as he ask, let him be a part of everything, every day!! Hard? Yes, but with God's strength and wisdom you CAN do it!!!
I mentioned wisdom at the very beginning did you know it's not something you earn but rather a gift?! Yep, the Bible tells us in James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men (and women) liberally...." *God gives us wisdom liberally, like a "gift" but first we mus ask for it.
This topic is much more detailed in Debi's book. I hope and pray that in some small way it will help you to see HOW important it is that we have wisdom as wives, that we submit to OUR husband, NOT another man, NOT the one who thinks he has control over you, YOUR HUSBAND that is the ONLY man on this earth that you are married to. He is the one you vowed to Honor, Obey till death do you part.

Being the Help Meet you are meant to be. 4 of 24
*Live with Thanksgiving, forgiveness, and joy, and enjoy all your moments as if they were your last.
*Thanksgiving Produces Joy: Open your mouth and begin to thank God for his grace towards you. Thank him for every good thing that he has brought into your life. Thank him, thank him and thank him again. Joy is the result of a thankful heart. A thankful heart is the result of a person who decides to give thanks. So say,
"Thank you, God for...." Put in there whatever you are thankful for, salvation, your husband, your children, your friends, your family, ect.
Are you a jolly playmate? Did you know you have control over somethings. Such as: I Peter 3:7, ...heirs together of the grace of life... Will your husband have that? You as the wife really do have much more control than you know. Do you and your spouse have fun?
*Because I have known such love and closeness with a man, it makes my understanding of and appreciation for God much deeper.
Love can be fun :) Is your husband your playmate? Do you do things together? Ride bikes, go for walks, enjoy a show together, go out on dates? I have been married 19 yrs and I love to go and do things with my husband. I could say, he's my playmate! If you have this mind set you will be just that: *gift, a playmate, his helper.
*You learn that all of life is fun and needs to be shared with our best friend, playmate and lover.
*When a weak sister fulfills her divine purpose of being a true help meet, it brings great glory and joy to God.
*Being grateful and thankful is the key to spiritual victory.
Be sure you are in your Bible daily and praying daily not just so you have the right kind of walk with God but so that you can be, and learn to be the right kind of wife!
Don't worry about others think in any area: Why? It's really between you and God!!!
*Some people would say I am weak and foolish or extremely co-dependent. What people think is nothing compared to what God thinks.
SO: *The message to you is simple. From this day forth, starting right now - TODAY - be the woman who honors, obeys and loves Jesus, by HONORING YOUR HUSBAND!

Being the Help Meet you were meant to be. 3 of 24
Good morning everyone! I hope you're enjoying these post. Please feel free to comment on them also.
Do you have a Thankful Spirit? The spirit we have whether good or bad can and will affect your marriage! You should have a Thankful Spirit no matter what your situation. Don't be a poor me person but a Thank you Lord for what the Holy Spirit has given.
*A wise woman sets a joyful mood in her home. Through laughter, music, and happy times, she creates a positive attitude in her children. She knows that a lighthearted home relieves her husband of stress.
1. Are you a Poor-Me Attitude?
Proverbs 15:15 says, "All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast"
Don't complain about your family's situation, having this Poor-Me attitude is not healthy. *This downcast, un-thankful attitude is a dishonor to God!
*Discontentment is not a product of circumstances; it is the state of the soul.
Did you know, *Thankful people have a view of life that begins somewhere deep in their souls....
*You can practice joy and thanksgiving, Every day, every right response makes the fingers of your soul find the notes of joy and thanksgiving easier and easier.
As Christians and as wives we really need to work on this joy and thankfulness. You know, as a wife, mother, teacher or whatever your responsibilities are, you need to work on this. Are you a complainer do you use words that are too strong in what you are saying? I don't mean cursing, I mean words like hate, kill, ect.... These words are not good to use all the time. As a wife, mother ect they need to NOT be in your vocabulary it can destroy the joy in your home and it shows in some ways lack of thankfulness.
When you feel that things are not going right SMILE and be Thankful!! God has a reason for all things happening!
Colossians 3:15 teaches, "And let the PEACE of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be you thankful."
Have a Thankful Spirit!!!
Consider this:
*Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. If you are a child of God, joy will be a visible reality in your life.
1. Where does your joy start?
2. Have I been discontent about my lot in life? Am I, on occasion a "POOR-ME" person?
3. Do I verbally show thanksgiving every day?
4. Do I daily remember to thank god for my husband?
5. Would my friends describe me as a joyful, thankful and content?
6. How can I add practicing joy and thanksgiving to my life?
7. Am I willing to lay down my grievance toward my husband for the hope of a heavenly marriage?
If you go to the book of Philippians it teaches us how we can be a woman of God! Phil 4:6 tells us, "be careful for nothing"
When I read be careful for nothing we need to not worry, fret, or add trouble to our lives. Assuming that this will happen, this person will say this or that, or whatever we worry and fret about we DON"T need to do! God gives us the strength we need to be a Woman of God.

Being the Help Meet you were meant to be. 2 of 24
Good Morning all :) In reading Chapter 2 it speaks of having a Merry Heart that the Joy of the Lord is my strength.
Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine." The importance of a merry heart will help in our marriages. If your marriage is struggling start rebuilding by recreating the Merry heart in your own life first!
*When he first fell in love with you, you were a sweet little thing, full of laughter and fun.
My question to you is: Do you still have that laughter and are still full of fun?? If your husband was asked how you are today and how you were when you met, what would he say?
So, *Is he still married to the same sweet little thing, have you become a long-faced, sickly complainer?
Prov 15:13 "A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance...."
Did you know when you smile people are more likely to come to you than when you walk around looking mad or upset with the world?!
This applies to your hubby also. If you give him those mischievous grins that are only meant for him he'll want to be with you! How many yrs have you been married and does your hubby want to come home or would he rather be at work???
*Men are highly attracted to smiles. That includes your husband!!
Are you a desperate wife wanting your husband back?? Not that he's left you through divorce but in that he seems to look at other women more than at you.
Song of Solomon 8:6 "...for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath most vehement flame"
Do what you can to let him know that you love him show him through smiles and your winsome personality that won your husband in the first place!! *Never demand that a man love you and cherish you because he ought to. Earn every smile land shared moment.
*God stands with you when you stand by your man.
Psalm 100
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands., Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations"

Being the Help Meet you were meant to be. 1 of 24
Good Morning, Twice a yr I have this one book I read that was given to me and this will be my 5th time reading it. You say, what book other than the Bible would you read over an over? Well, it's Called "Created to be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl
The first time I read the book, I was thinking there's no way anyone can do all this. WRONG it is possible with the right mind set and not just following this book but the Bible. I thought since I have started reading it again I would share a little each day from the chapter I read which will include scriptures also.
God's Gift : *If God created a special woman, perfectly suited to be your husband's helper, would you be that woman?
Did you know, *"When you are a help meet to your husband, you are a helper to Christ."
Proverbs 18:22 (KJB) Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
Wow! We as wives are a "good thing" can imagine that through all our faults, bad breath and so on and so forth we are a good thing for our husbands! It's true we are!
*A woman trying to function like a man is as ridiculous as a man trying to be like a woman."
Proverbs 31 Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies.
We are the ruby God has for the man you are to marry (are married too).
We are the "good thing' in his life!

Do it heartily.....
Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."
What will you do with this yr? Will you do whatever you please not caring if the Lord is honored or pleased? Will you do to get from God OR will you do for God?
As new Christians we alot of times start off doing for the Lord for what we receive. We should grow though and get to where we do, what we do For God! Yes there are benefits in serving in God but we should want to praise, honor, worship, learn and grow in Christ so we can become more Christ like.
I don't do New Yrs resolutions those are basically meant to be broken. I do however tell the Lord I want to go to the next level. What is the next level in your Christian life you want to improve in 2011?
As you think of this keep in mind that: "...whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, unto the Lord, and not unto men."

Happy New Years!
As we enter the new year why not start it the way we want to finish it.
Start the new yr reading your Bible, Praying, Witnessing to others, attending church and being a good steward of your time. For children obeying your parents, being kind to your siblings, loving others and be a good steward or your time.
Have you read your Bible all the way through? The Bible tells us, Study to shew thyself approved, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed. Make it your goal this yr 2011 to read your Bible all the way through and to study it, to learn and grow in the Lord.
Do you pray daily? Remember we are to pray without ceasing. Have a prayer list and pray for certain things and people daily! If you aren't in the routine of making a list, get one of those pocket size notebooks and starting writing down prayer request leaving a small space to date when the prayer is answered. It's amazing how many prayers you can have answered in a yr.
Soul winning - Did you know we're told to go into the highways and byways seeking for the lost. Do you have a scheduled time that you go and give the gospel to those who have not heard. If you aren't sure when your church goes out, ask your Pastor when the soul-winning times are.
My friends, I prayer is that each of us grow more and grow stronger than we are today 12/31/2010. It would be a shame for us to be in the exact same stage of our Christian growth in a yr. Something would be terribly wrong.
I'll close wishing you Happy New Year and a Blessed New Year!

My friends, I prayer is that each of us grow more and grow stronger than we are today 12/31/2010. It would be a shame for us to be in the exact same stage of our Christian growth in a yr. Something would be terribly wrong.
I'll close wishing you Happy New Year and a Blessed New Year!

Which are you growing?
Your mind is your garden, your thoughts are your seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.
My sister in law had this in a post I read earlier and I got to thinking about it. Our minds are like gardens, and Yes our thoughts are like seeds. Now, what do we do with those "seeds" thoughts that are in our "garden" mind.
So Your mind is your garden.... II Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." and I Timothy 4:15 "Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all."
These verse show us that we use our mind to study and if we study right things we are growing our "garden" to produce "flowers" good thoughts and right things. When we meditate on the Bible and on the preaching we are growing our "garden" to produce those "flowers" that will turn out the good thoughts that is in our mind.
May I ask what do you allow to enter your mind (garden)?
Do you allow garbage? curse words? bad TV shows? gossip? OR Do you allow good things? Christian fellowship? Songs of Christ? If you watch movies those that are made for family and w/out the rock music and foul language.
These are just a few things that we as Christians need to know if we're planting the right or wrong "seed" in our "garden".
Philippians 2:5 "Let this mind be in you, which is Christ Jesus;" With Christmas being here, what are we going to plant in our garden or the garden of others. Are you going to be negative, complain about this and that? OR will you be positive and make those around you glad that they get to spend Christmas with you.
Moms, we are the spirit of the home. Are we planting good in the gardens of our children? So they can plant good in the gardens of their friends.
Dads, you are the head of the home. Are you planting good in your wife's garden so she can plant good in your children's garden?
Just a few thoughts to ponder. "Your mind is your garden, and your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds."

To everything there is a season...
Recently I was thinking over the season's and got to thinking we as humans go through "seasons". To everything there is a season, there is a time to play and a time to work. There's a time cry and a time to laugh. We can put so many things in for: There's a time to : ____________. Below are some pictures of fall, and winter. God made the seasons for us to enjoy the changes and the beauty of his creation in various ways.

Then I got to thinking about my children. There was a time they are babies (didn't have time to add all the pictures) Then a time of toddlers and a time for being a child. Then you reach the teen age yrs. I love what my daddy says about teens, "When you turn 13 you put them a box with hole so you can feed them bread and water. When they turn 18 you plug the hole, then at age 20 you let them out and that's when they enter the human race again." LOL God loaned our children to us for us to raise for Him. It's up to us if we actually do it. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Tabitha has reached the young adult stage which as her mother is so hard to believe. One day an although we don't know how long or when she'll get married she's following the steps the time of life.

Praise the Lord he gave us a "time" line.
Birth
Baby
Toddler
Child
Teenager
Young Adult so on and so forth.
He gave us a time to work and a time to play
He gave us a time to cry and a time to laugh
He gave us so much why can't we give him the time of day that he deserves. He gives us air to breath, earth to live on and yet.... What do we give him??
Just a little thought for the day.
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Call unto me....
Oh my goodness.... Oven died Thanksgiving morning BEFORE the turkey was cooked, Bill lost all his over time and on call pay (which is equal to a part time job), 3 vehicles and only 1 works and it's running rough, what more could go on....
But my God shall supply my need....
Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
We started praying about these things AND....
Tomorrow we"ll be getting a new stove :D
Within the next mo we'll be getting a new vehicle :D
A man in the church is working on one of the broken down vehicles for very little!
Money for our needs, has been there when we needed it!!
An add blessing, Paul's Nov school bill is PD!!! now we need Dec and 1st semester if PD in full!!!
Ask and shall be given! Call upon the Lord and he'll answer maybe not in our time but he will answer. To top that off we may even have found Tabitha a car which she greatly needs. God is good all the time; all the time God is good!!! Oh almost forgot, our Thanksgiving dinner ended up being one of the best!! I had a Roaster that I hadn't used yet, so since it was meant for Turkey we ended up with one of the best cooked turkeys ever!!! God is good and we had and have so much to be thankful for. So, when the walls are falling in and you wonder why? Stop and ..Call upon the name of the Lord. Go to HIS promises that the Bible is full of and it's Amazing what God can do!
It's Amazing What Praising can do! It's Amazing What God will do through you, for you and yes through others also.
Merry Christmas to ALL!!!

When you think....
Have you had a day where you felt all as falling apart? Where nothing was going right for you, your children, your husband? My former Preacher and my current preacher tells one who feels this way, to go and help someone else. Well, today things just seemed to not go right, my husband was given some bad news at work and it was just like why?
Well, we had 8 families we needed to go see this evening and because we did, Bill and I both came home feeling better about our lives!!! One family wouldn't of had Thanksgiving dinner had we not gone by, one mom needed someone to just listen and because Bill an I went by her home to give them a turkey we were able to help her. I'm not bragging about this, I'm simply saying, we did for others an our troubles all of a sudden weren't nearly as big.
Phil 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We, Bill and I, don't know how things will work out for us, but we KNOW God will supply our need!! That's good enough for us, we'll cont to tithe, serve him in our church and help others. God will take care of everything else!!!
John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."
As we go through life we shouldn't let things trouble us. After all God gave his ONLY Son for us, and God has EVERYTHING under control. As long as you and I do what God has for us to do our troubles really are in God's hands and he walks hand in hand with us. We need to Thank the Lord for all he's done for us, for what he's given us as his children. So, "Let not your heart be troubled...."
I pray that as the Thanksgiving season approaches that if you feel down, discouraged or troubled, GO and do something for those less fortunate than you.
Happy Thanksgiving All.

Spare not the rod....
Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."
Today was one of those days, that I'm thinking if I don't apply the board of Education then we're really going to regret it later in life. I don't usually have to discipline my oldest 2 boys often. One of them decided that arguing with mom would be appropriate and that he could even yell at me. Now wait a minute....
The Bible teaches that we are not to spare the rod. In the world today they say we're making murders, and thief's of our children if we spank. Well, I grew up with getting my share of spankings and I didn't turn out bad. I will say there's a difference in abuse and discipline. If you slap your children, kick them, or otherwise hurt them when in anger, then yes it could and in most cases is ABUSE. The hinder most part known as your rear was made to be spanked. The Lord knew we as sinners would need a form of discipline, NOT abuse.
I love Proverbs in the way it teaches that, Children should obey their parents in the Lord. It teaches that receiving instruction is wise. It tells us in other places good men obtain favour with God. One of the scriptures is Proverbs 12:1-2 "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn."
Here if we raise our children in church, in the Bible and prayer they will learn to LOVE instruction. They will realize that we aren't being mean parents but that we are trying to protect them, to rear them in the Lord.
Proverbs 1:7 it says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Our children will despise correction if not applied properly. If you're a new parent please read the Bible learn the proper ways to discipline. To those who've been raising children make sure you're doing it the Biblical way.

Be Careful for nothing....
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
I was talking with a friend, and shared some things with her about some situations. The way that we, or anyone can come through any situation, dealing with our sins, Satan or anything is to, "Be careful for nothing...." What does this mean? I say this because there is so much wrong and bad out in the world that we can't be TO careful. We need to warn our children, grandchildren, friends, family and even those whom we don't know of the evils that are out in the world.
I have a dear friend who does just that through her web site, however in the last several months she's been down due to health issues and hasn't been able to reveal things that we as Christians sometimes miss or ignore. I'm stepping up and sharing something that I believe could be a help to someone. There are movies out there that are absolutely satanic and evil. As a teen I was introduced to some pretty scary things and because of it for about a month I lived not knowing what was happening. Why didn't I understand it, I had never been exposed to witchcraft before I was 18, I had never seen or heard much about how Satan can enter your mind and if let go can destroy you. I was a college student at a Bible College went home for Thanksgiving with another college student and several of our friends. The girls that were Preachers kids (me being one) was mocked because we couldn't/wouldn't go to a theatre. So they brought the evil to the house. Because of that I had some rough days, wks and yes at least a mo. ahead of me. God as my witness I came through some things that some people would probably say, that isn't possible. It is and I know it is. My children to this day do NOT watch things such as, Nightmare on Elm Street, Harry Potter, Twilight and whatever else is out there. I don't want or need Satan interfering with my family. We are a Christian family, trying to live for our Lord serving him and doing what God would have us to do. If we allow Satan to interfere through toys, books and movies we are leading our children in the WRONG direction. I'm not going into any more detail at this time about things but I will say, ANY movie, book, game or even toy that is based on Satan is WRONG!!!! It can and WILL destroy people! This is why I say and the most importantly the Bible says, "Be careful for NOTHING!...." We need to pray, depend, look to and stay away from that which is evil as much as humanly possible.
If you are offended by this, I don't apologize except to say, PLEASE do your homework. Learn what is really out there in the world and what we are letting destroy our families!!

My Son wrote the following:
Caleb came out to me this morning an had written the following:
Verse 1: If there is still people will you go and tell them about the wonderful word. If there is still people then will you go with me to lead them to the altar that they might be saved.
Chorus: So for all you new Christians God has a new mission; for your new mission it is to go and to tell all the other people about Him.
Verse 2: If God has called you, to be a Missionary or a Pastor as long as it is for the Lord, the Lord will provide and he will let that soul nearest Hell be saved.
This came from my 15 yr old just this morning! There's a message there for sure.

Walking hand-n-hand
As the boys an I walked down the trail we were laughing and talking about our day. You know we can do the same with Jesus walk and talk with him laughing and smiling about our day, life or whatever!! Psalm 23:3 "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." All we need to do is take the Lord's hand and he'll lead us down the path of righteousness. All we need to do is abide in Him!
We can walk in God's word, down the path he has provided or we can go astray. Just as the boys and I could stick to the path in the woods or we could of wandered off the path and we don't know what could of happened.
Ephesians 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."

Answering Questions for our Children
Isn't it wonderful that we as parents have the Bible to go when our Children have questions. Today was one of those days where I was/am so grateful for my upbringing and love for the Bible and Church. Our youngest Jason had a little bit of a rough morning his pet hamster died and Praise the Lord I was able to help him through it with Bible reading and prayer.
(This next paragraph is from a Daily Focus I get in my e-mail daily) If you are a child of the king, you also have the same ability to come before your heavenly Father with your request. Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Unlike the limitations you face when meeting your child's request, Jesus has the ability to give you everything you need and waits to show you the "exceeding riches of His grace" (Ephesians 2:7) He never gets tired when you ask Him countless questions or even the same question repeatedly. Christ even loves you with an everlasting love and seeks to draw you unto Himself. (Jeremiah 31:3b)
This little section of Daily Focus fit in so perfectly with what I did this morning with my Jason. He asked several times "Why do people and animals have to die?" Jason had never dealt with death till 3 wks ago when his Nana graduated to Heaven. So in 3 wks he's had a lot to think on and try to make sense of.
Aren't you glad that your Heavenly Father doesn't push you aside when you have questions or worries. I didn't push Jason aside today, what we did push aside was the other things planned in our day. School suddenly for us was not of top priority, because I took this hardship my son was going through and used it to talk with Samuel and Caleb also. Caleb was able to help also seeing he's 15 and understands a little about death. When we were done several hours later Jason felt and knew he was loved and that Mom cared enough to take time to help him in a situation he'd never really had to deal with before.
Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa..... Do you take time for those little ones? Do you see their hurt, their worry (yes children worry just because they don't have huge responsibilities doesn't mean they don"t worry) their eyes that question life? Lets not be in such a hurry that we think, "Oh they're just children!" That's not true, they are children who need us. They are children, who hurt just like you and I do. Remember, Jesus called the children to come unto him! Why?? He loves them and wants them to know he is there. We need to do the same!

Are you "Hunting for Jesus?"
Just a few questions for us to ponder....
1. Are you "hunting" for Jesus? Seeking to improve you life daily and become More like Him?
2. Are you "hunting" for souls? Do you look for those who are lost and wondering in sin? Do you try to lead them in the right way of Salvation?
No great thoughts for today, just something we all should ponder and look at our hearts and lives to see if we are doing as God would have us do.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God....
Go ye into the highways and byways compelling them to come in....
Are you being a "Hunter for Jesus?"

Pray without ceasing....
We need to be praying if you haven't already for our upcoming election! Who will "rule" America next. This past Nov 2nd made some changes, but the greatest change is who will be our President for the next 4 yrs. I personally can't imagine this old world lasting another 4 yrs, but it could.
The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. We don't have to all day every day be in prayer, but pray faithfully and regularly for our country! IF we turn against God we ARE in trouble. If America turns against Israel WE ARE IN TROUBLE!
My question for you is: Will you pray without ceasing for our Country! God Bless America!
