Good Morning all :) In reading Chapter 2 it speaks of having a Merry Heart that the Joy of the Lord is my strength.
Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine." The importance of a merry heart will help in our marriages. If your marriage is struggling start rebuilding by recreating the Merry heart in your own life first!
*When he first fell in love with you, you were a sweet little thing, full of laughter and fun.
My question to you is: Do you still have that laughter and are still full of fun?? If your husband was asked how you are today and how you were when you met, what would he say?
So, *Is he still married to the same sweet little thing, have you become a long-faced, sickly complainer?
Prov 15:13 "A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance...."
Did you know when you smile people are more likely to come to you than when you walk around looking mad or upset with the world?!
This applies to your hubby also. If you give him those mischievous grins that are only meant for him he'll want to be with you! How many yrs have you been married and does your hubby want to come home or would he rather be at work???
*Men are highly attracted to smiles. That includes your husband!!
Are you a desperate wife wanting your husband back?? Not that he's left you through divorce but in that he seems to look at other women more than at you.
Song of Solomon 8:6 "...for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath most vehement flame"
Do what you can to let him know that you love him show him through smiles and your winsome personality that won your husband in the first place!! *Never demand that a man love you and cherish you because he ought to. Earn every smile land shared moment.
*God stands with you when you stand by your man.
Psalm 100
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands., Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations"
